Wednesday: Solitary Seagull

Weather much improved - dry and bright with a gentle breeze to dry the washing, such a lovely change from all the rain and wind :-))
I decided to tackle my cooking apple mountain, as they fall from the tree I collect them in a colander. The undamaged fruit will keep for a while but all the bruised ones need using up, I stewed some apples on their own which MrD enjoyed this evening with custard and I stewed another batch with frozen blackberries for myself.
Watched a few more episodes of Dr. Who Series 13 when I remembered I hadn’t taken any photos. I was hoping to see the usual crowd of seagulls flying over our house on their way back to the coast - just one sadly, the others were much further across and too far away to take a photo but I could hear them :-))
MrD had a good day of deliveries.
Late evening and the wind and rain are back … maybe clear before morning?!
