Steptoe …

… and Son

We were driving down Long Drive on our way to St Heliers this morning when we spotted this van parked at the side of the road.  Mr MacD very quickly pulled into the kerb and I got out and asked the driver, who was standing on the grass verge,  if he’d mind if I took a photo.  I took three quick photos then had a chat.  Stupidly, I didn’t ask him if his last name actually is Steptoe.  Apparently, young people in their 20s are always asking where the son is.  When they’re asked how do they even know about Steptoe and Son, they say that they love watching it on YouTube.  Who knew?
