Fungi and ferns

Finally spotted some fungi on an old stump behind our community mailbox! Big ones too. The top one had a maple seed on it. The seeds are everywhere. Before we got snow, I picked quite a few out of the garden beds, already taking root. 
A busy day. It's been too long since I've given the house a thorough clean, so I got a good start with dusting and vacuuming. Also did a couple of loads of laundry. I'd much rather work outside but it does feel good to have a clean house. Went for a quick walk looking for a blip. Chilly! Still some patches of snow hanging around in shady areas.
