Piled for recycling

We had a couple of boxes of books to donate to the local literacy society for their big Books and Bling sale coming up, and today was one of the days advertised for dropping them off. When we got there, a sign was posted saying that no more books could be accepted because so many had been donated. Oh well, I'm sure there will be another chance to donate them. The drop-off place was the Farmer's Institute, just down the road from the recycling centre. I took this photo through the car window while G dropped off the recycling. Happy I didn't have to get out of the car in the rain! 
What a day of weather!  We've had sun, wind, rain, hail, and it's so dark at 4pm that I can see very little outside. At least we haven't lost power! Lots of people in other parts of the province have.
