Mundy's devil
Mundy inherited this little devil car ornament from his grandfather, who had it on his bonnet as he drove around Horsham in the early 1900s. The faster you drive, the higher the tail goes. It used to be red, but a friend advised him to paint it green when he lived in Nigeria, because "red is a dangerous colour".
I needed something to balance it on to take the picture and these two Nigerian bangles worked well.
We love the sense of camaraderie this site has. You are all so kind and encouraging with your comments and good wishes. Thanks so much!
