A day with Sis

Trish and I went to see Mum this morning, mum seemed very well and pleased to see us.

On the way to Dorchester we checked on a few areas to see if the bluebells were out yet, they are out along the road side but not so much in the woods which are shaded.
We stopped at Black Hut Corner which is not far from where I was brought up, we parked the car right next to some cattle who were munching on some hay. Then walked up a foot path to check out the bluebells, Trish remembered collecting clay from the stream and making clay things with it when a child.

I found a pretty purple orchid Orchis mascula, a snail and a few bluebells.
The lovely thatched farm house is at Matravers near Uploaders.

We had lunch at The Spyway Pub sitting out in the garden and reminisced over our village school which was just up the road at Askerswell.

On up over Eggarden Hill and then on to Charminster to see Dad and Maureen , when we got there he was counting his gold fish!
We watched Badminton Horse Trials on the tv as we didn't see the show jumping on Monday, didn't we do well !! NZ.

Terry took Pam out for the day, they had a nice Historic time.
Off to London tomorrow so bed now.
