Green and Gold

Against a threatening sky but which thankfully didn’t deliver, so a warm and dry day but ever so windy – got the washing dry at least.  Tedious supermarket shopping and a peek at the first episode of the new Season of The Crown – I’m reserving judgement.

Meanwhile and on a brighter note I've heard from our friends D&K who are currently cruising in the Norwegian sea.  They are having a magnificent time, send pictures when they can, have seen the Northern lights (which is what they went for in particular) and today sent pictures of the sunset over Alta at 13.34pm which I’ve put in extra, together with their Cruise Ship.  Apart from seeing the Northern Lights K wanted to go dog sledging which they had pre-booked for today.  It is snowing there but not enough for dog sledging.  Always disappointing when nature doesn’t deliver, but in the scheme of things I think they’re having a pretty wonderful time.
