Lap dog

Another good night with Kyro.

Managed to put some washing out.  It's ridiculously mild!

Took Kyro for a neighbourhood walk in the morning.  Pulling a tad less on the lead.  Still working on 'wait' and 'cross'.  Met another neighbour delighted to meet him.

Pottered about at home.  Often finding a greyhound shadow sticking a nose in cupboards, fridges etc whenever opened.

Afternoon walk discovered he's very reactive to cats.  Does the greyhound stare with radar ears and pulling on the lead.  At present using turning away but then like the current tory government does a u-turn each time I draw him away.  He's very strong and I have to stand my ground.  Confident this will ease.

As we were on our road nearly home. Bumped into C, husky dog owner of Storm who informed of an enclosed field on a farm used for exercising/ training dogs which can be rented for a period.  Sounds a good idea once he's settled more.  Kyro was comfortable with a brief greeting with Storm then turned his head away.  My previous greyhounds adopted this stance when they'd had enough of dogs or people.

As we arrived at our drive, Kyro clocked a  white bichon.  K was not happy, trembling, frightened more than reactive.  We hastened indoors where he seemed unsettled still and followed me everywhere.

This evening he tried to eat my dinner so had to shut him in the living room until we'd eaten.

Blip is this evening after dinner.  Loves cuddling up.

Pleasant evening everyone.
