Notes: Slept a bit better but still woke in the dark. Light rain and wind that ramped up heavily throughout the day as Tropical Storm Nicole hit the other coast as a Cat 1 Hurricane - did massive damage over there. Moved the car down into parking garage before weather got too bad, alarms set off next door and emergency showed up twice looking for a fire (bizzaro with everything wet and driving rain - turned out to be some electrical problem). Did a morning bath, was lovely. In sweats all day. Made a big batch of quinoa and mixed w/ some of my leftovers for a great meal: roasted chicken, zucchini, asparagus, pesto, lemon juice and toasted pepitas! Loved this great stormy day - could easily take a week of it and then still be sad to go back to sunny.
