I know not who Alec actually is but, when you come round the corner, it really looks like a chap is leaning against the wall.   Only when you get closer do you realise it's a sculpture.

For those wondering what yesterday's mystery object was:  it's a potato chipper ...... (other companies, prices, details are available)   -   I've had it for years and still use it from time to time.   :o))
