The Fallen

It is Veteran's Day, a day we honor all those who have served both past and present especially those who fell in the line of duty.  It is a fitting day to begin my remembrance weekend for my brother, who served in Vietnam and whose celebration of life will be tomorrow.  I am looking forward to seeing some family and friends as we gather to remember Michael.  

I sowed my wildflower seeds yesterday and that too is a kind of celebration of life to come.  With everything green and blooming gone for another season, it is an act of faith and hope to sow seeds for the future.  Our election on Tuesday also gave me a wee bit of hope for the future of this country and we all needed that.
