Church Artwork

We went to the funeral today of a well loved and hugely respected  figure of our community we’ve known for many years who has died at the age of 96. 
She lived in our village but moved to the neighbouring village of Haselor when she downsized houses some years ago.
Not being a churchgoer I hadn’t seen this beautiful embroidered/ appliquéd / quilted / stitched wall hanging before, at Haselor Church depicting all the activities in the village . It’s beautiful. It was done to commemorate the millennium, so twenty three years old now.
I hung around as everyone was filing out, to get a photo of it.
