Spring ride - Day 6

Leaving Otorohanga for Palmerston North the wind was to keep us on our toes and it made for tiring riding, I'de rather have rain than wind,  but we made good progress through some impressive countryside.
I turned around and went back to take the Blip which could be seen from the side of the road Raukawa Falls has changed a bit as can be seen here but Its still quite impressive.
The overnight night in "Palmy" was at a motel we have used a couple of times before and with a boutique brewery a few doors away and an excellent restaurant across the road it was a good night.
The day had been dry but the wind was still being persistent and gusty.
