County Court house
We shopped today in Prescott Arizona and visited the square after a stop for lunch on Whiskey Row. This statue is by Solon H. Borglum in honor of an Arizona volunteer known as a member of the Arizona rough riders. "ERECTED BY ARIZONA IN HONOR OF THE 1ST. U.S. VOLUNTEER CAVALRY, KNOWN TO HISTORY AS ROOSEVELT'S ROUGH RIDERS, AND IN MEMORY OF CAPTAIN WILLIAM O. O'NEILL AND HIS COMRADES WHO DIED WHILE SERVING THEIR COUNTRY IN THE WAR WITH SPAIN". "Bucky" O'Neill was the mayor of Prescott at the time. This describes a monument in front of the court house of "Bucky" O'Neill, this is the rear and not identified as to who this might be.
