Dinner with friends

Today has been a busy day with getting the house ready, and packing bags for our getaway.

I'd arranged a few appointments for hair and nails .... then a shop.  Did the ironing too.

We'd been invited to dinner at our friends Ashely and Cathy's home.  Ashley, pictured here, is actually our doctor.  Martin has known his sister Sharon from way back when, and they've been good friends for ages.  Now that we are on the Sunshine Coast, we get to hang out with them.

Martin went back to work after dinner, so he could have everything neat and tidy so he doesn't have to worry about anything while we're away.
