Jetty

The weather was set fair so a trip out was called for.  We found ourselves in Pooley Bridge visiting the (relatively) new bookshop there.  Great place with coffee and cake too.  We pottered and bought some Christmas presents.

From here to Keswick and a wander to Friar's Crag before a trip into town in search of lunch.  Square Orange did a very good pizza.

Home via Thirlmere and Dunmail Raise.  We had hoped to linger waiting for the sunset but a loss of pressure light came on in the car so we decided to get home smartish.  The car is due a service on Monday so we can sort it then.

Great day.  Lots of people out enjoying the autumn sunshine and mild weather.  Trees golden and lovely.
