Watched the service at the Cenotaph
My mother had a husband in the first world war and a son in the second.
Must have been very worrying for her.  Thankfully they both survived.

The meallast night was a success.  I felt there was too much stuffing in the chicken cushion, but I am not a greatlover of stuffing.  The steamed sponge in the slow cooker was excellent, and I will use that method from now on.

Spent the afternoon pricing up Christmas decorations etc for the charity shop.  Unbelievable variety of objects!
