The Black Watch

No idea where this was taken but it’s my grandpa and his regiment. Perhaps it was before they were sent over to France and the horrors of the Western Front. Maybe it was during WW1 and home for whoever reason, or after the war was over. I do t know as there is no date on the photo sadly.

Anyway, in honour of Remembrance Sunday, a thank you to him and everyone else who has went to War, any war, they are all horrendous and started by men that never have to go through the suffering that the soldiers on the front line have to endure.
