a sad moment

Isaac was full of joy for most of the day but in this moment was remembering his disgust at The Lion King - he was most disgruntled that anyone would draw the Dad lion dying. They should have drawn it a better way apparently!

Today my Mum would have turned 70. I suppose I also wish that story had been drawn a better way and we’d been able to eat cake and drink fizz together.

Gratefuls:

1. Eve being brave and competing in the Cross Country League;
2. Homemade cinnamon buns;
3. The many lovely birthdays I spent with Mum.
