Lovely present!

Manda, my great friend is a wonderful gift giver and always comes up with treats. This is a beauty advent calendar,  they have become all the rage - and I often end up with one as a birthday present because of the timing of my birthday.  So I get to look at the lovely packaging for a few weeks and to guess at the contents and then have something every day until Xmas! 

Predictably woke up bruised and aching with sore places even where I didn’t hurt myself.  It’s going to be a few days before I can move freely. 

We went up by train to lunch at Shoreditch house.  Beet, Chez and Ivy, met with Manda, Steve and Joe alongside me V and Rory.  Such a lovely lunch and really fun un-fussed afternoon. Ivy was the star of the show…very smiley and happy all the way through, high-fiving and cackling at everyone. 

Good journey home but my back has now joined the pain party so didn’t feel  great this evening and had a telly evening.  Watched another Rogue Heroes, the first ep of Gangs of London featuring my friend and colleague Waleed and just to stop watching violence, Graham Norton with Bruce Springsteen…
