Sneaky Bug
I rather like the tiny Green Elfcup fungi which stains the wood substrate green, and is favoured as a decorative marquetry inlay, especially for "Tunbridge ware". It's supposed to be common, but I have only seen it once before, so today I headed over to Chobham Common where I saw it last year to hunt it out.
As you can see, my hunt was successful, though I didn't see the tiny bug elbowing in on the session until I uploaded it to the computer!
Note: these are really tiny as taken at full 2x magnification on my Laowa 85mm f5.6 manual macro lens (hence no EXIF data)
