Keeping good time

The area round the London Road clock on Elm Row is slowly taking shape and being tidied up; the tramwork barriers are being taken away and Leith Walk gets a bit closer to actually having a tramline in place. I was surprised today to actually be able to cross the road again to Gayfield Square from Elm Row - for months now, to do that has required a trek of several hundred metres either up past the Playhouse or halfway down Leith Walk.  

The clock is keeping a watchful eye on things - still waiting for the bronze pigeons to return.
