Monday: The Driveway

I was at a very interesting event this afternoon - the launch of Belize’s constitutional reform process.  The reason it was so interesting is that Belize is one of only 14 realm countries left where the British monarch is head of state.  I suspect that, once this reform process is complete, Belize will have broken away and become a republic.  There was lots of talk about forging a new path and the remoteness of Westminster.

The walk down the driveway afterward was lovely.
