Shaggy Parasol

I spotted this at the side of the Coastal Path this morning on our walk. We took the chance to walk on the path this morning because we were up and about earlier than usual. We met a few people with dogs, but, thankfully not the Akita. So we were both very relieved.
I collected some good smooth stones from the shore to paint with Hannah and Maggie for Christmas pressies.
We didn’t walk far because I’m a bit over-tired after a busy day yesterday and dealing with my very over-active gut. I really can’t be far from a loo. Sorry TMI!
We’re just off to see our friend Mitch, at the other end of the village. It was his birthday yesterday and we didn’t manage to visit him so I warned him that Geordie and I would descend on him today with his pressy.
It’s cold, grey and windy here today, so when we come back we will snuggle on the sofa and read, I think. Well, I will read, Geordie will just enjoy the snuggling.
