Old and new
Up early to take Mrs Rex to the fiefdom of Bob Servant as her car is sick. With time on my hands after dropping her off I decided on a stop off at the V&A in Dundee – which is slowly being surrounded by "monstrous carbuncles", © Charles III – before heading home. As I'd arrived so soon after it had opened it was clear that the staff outnumbered all the visiting pensioners that were in for a heat and a coffee and they still hadn't finished off the dusting (extras). Leaving the exhibition on plastics for another day and ignoring the one on getting older I returned home to await the call to pick Mrs Rex up from Ferrytoll once she had been given a lift home.
That's a couple of gallons of petrol saved for tomorrow's trip to West Lothian...
