Dotty RIP

We lost Dotty sometime during the night.Helen and I buried her this morning wrapped in a blanket in a quiet spot that gets a lot of sunshine.We think she must have been about twenty years old.She first turned up on the nursery in the front garden under the ivy with kittens.The girls kept her fed then she disappeared for a while returning again with more kittens.She was completely wild and remained so all her life but she would come in the house and sit with us when it was cold but we could not go too near her.
We did manage to catch her to have her spayed and this improved her quality of life.She loved the sun and had a great last summer soaking up rays all day long on the yard.

She certainly brightened our northern skies and continues to do so through her children.We started the year with seven cats now we just have five leaves left.
