Multi-coloured plastic

Bit of a rubbish day. My husband slept his night shift off for most of the morning which left not much day in which to do anything together.

Audrey was up all night with her cough meaning I was exhausted and grumpy too. Plus had lots of work stuff to deal with and no energy for anything.

For a trip out (!) we went to Mothercare to get stair gates (ended up with the wrong ones again, so they'll be going back!) and I amused Audrey by pushing her round on a Trekker toy which she absolutely loved. Am tempted to get one for her but with no space left in the house and cobbled streets outside I rather suspect it would become another piece of multi-coloured plastic baby paraphernalia clogging up our house!

Bad day, bad mood in summary. Hoping sleep tonight will restore me. And my husband and I don't end up killing each other before bedtime!
