Another shot of campus at lunchtime today. The weather was awful in the morning - very heavy rain which, combined with roadworks, made this morning’s journey to work very long. But it cleared up in time for me to walk over to meet Paul at lunchtime.

On the way home, we stopped for dinner at a local pub as we had some money off vouchers. It was a nice meal but it did leave me feeling uncomfortably full - I didn’t think I’d overeaten that much.

Bake Off final tonight but frankly I didn’t really care who won - it’s not been a very good series, I don’t think. Maybe it’s come to the end of its life at last.
