Christmas cake

Hm.

I enjoyed making the cake, and I almost succumbed to the temptation to put on some Christmas music, although I would never actually do this before December 1st, of course.

And then I gave it five hours in the oven at one hundred and forty degrees, which is what I usually do (as I always use the same recipe).

I'm not sure... it doesn't seem to have risen quite as much as usual. 

But it's just occurred to me that I can go and look at previous years on Blip!

And here's the one from two years ago. Not quite the same, but I reckon they've risen about the same.
