Cool space

Today was Day One of treatment. It wasn’t my day on the rota but I wanted to be there so after BP, home and shower I drove to meet No. 1 and JC at the RM. She had an appointment in another department first so we waited, and waited and waited wondering at the delay. Patience is required although when it was time, we were only in there for five minutes. We hoped to have a bit of time to see Maggies and have a cup of tea but in the end, only had ten minutes. The building is a wonderful, architect designed space, relaxing and miles away from the hospital atmosphere. An ideal place to go between treatment.

No.1 was amazing and calm and although the equipment looked scary, it was over in around five minutes. First day done! I couldn’t be more proud of her and the f*cker is on its way gone!
