Wet walk

OH was on the rota today but we had an early walk before he went.  We did my normal route but he wanted to walk along the river so we doubled back but unfortunately the path was flooded.  Hopefully when it stops raining the water will subside - The river usually floods further up stream but we live much higher up, so the whole of Kent would have to flood before our house was affected!  

OH headed off to London with soup and bread for lunch and I pottered a bit before driving to Sainsburys to fill up with petrol.  I popped into M&S for a few goodies and saw ex LC member - she now has a new job at RBL.  She looked well and said she sees a few of the old team and was due for dinner with her previous Supervisor.  Made me smile as she did nothing but moan about her when they worked together but maybe when work doesn’t get in the way, friendship can continue?  

Home to light the fire in the conservatory and to crank up the sewing machine while watching Netflix - three hours later two bench cushions (with piping ) made for No.1.
