A little bit to your left . . .

The winning quilts from the ‘Birmingham Quilt Show’ made a fine display at the ‘Knitting and Stitching Show’ in Harrogate today. The photographer was taking a picture of one of the quilts - a fabulous one, intricately pieced and quilted - but seemed to need the young lady in front of it and in a particular position. Whether she was one of the two quilters responsible for the quilt, or whether she was a random person and why she was to be in front of it but sideways were intriguing questions. I was quite amused by the scenario.

A great way to spend the day - indoors out of the pouring rain, with plenty to see . . . and buy. Gordon had planned a walk, but had to abandon it - breakfast at Betty’s seemed to go some way towards making up for the disappointment!
