Swimming...

...through a sea of colors!  For Abstract Thursday today with thanks to Ingeborg for hosting!

As promised, it's been snowing for the past 6 hours.  It's a lovely snowfall, not too hard and without wind, so the beautiful snowflakes are just floating down.  What has landed on the deck looks like more than it really is because it's so fluffy. :-)  It's supposed to ramp up come evening and overnight, especially as the temperature drops even more.  It has been in the 20s (F) all day.  No complaints from me.  I love it!

I just paid the last bill to meet my Medicare deductible.  It's a shame the year is almost over.  I went ahead and made an appointment next week with the Podiatrist for my plantar fasciitis, and I'm trying to think of anyone else I should see in the next 6 weeks while I have full coverage. ;-)

I have to share this....A few weeks ago I had a video call with my doctor that lasted about 10 minutes.  I got the statement today.  The charge for the "virtual visit" was $388.00, and in addition to that, I was charged $79.00 for a "facility fee".  The "facility" she called from was her living room!  Medicare reduced the doctor bill to $93.00 but they allowed the whole facility fee.  At least when Medicare reduces a bill, the doctor has to suck it up! 

I am grateful that I worked in medical offices long enough to have a good understanding of insurance, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating!
