Curlew

Wednesday
What a difference a day makes. Beautiful and calm again today although it was colder at 7 degrees but I still did not need a coat for our walk.
We drove down to Newhall point and had a lovely walk along the road to the boat graveyard.
Plenty of birds to see including a yellow hammer and this lovely curlew with a very long beak.
The sea was very still with great reflections and a large ‘sea dog’ crossed the sky.
We went to to Cromarty and we treated ourselves to a pizza, delicious. Several bird watches with scopes and binoculars were along the front.
Forgot to say that we went to the dentist yesterday morning I’m fine but Mike has to go back for a filling in December.
