Stuck

A green traffic light isn't much good in a couple of feet of water.  It's been pretty rainy but this bit doesn't usually get any more than a small puddle (other places are more prone to flooding) so I think a drain that usually works must be blocked.

Given the people stranded, I felt it better to find a different route...

There was a cyclist who came round the corner fast and went straight into the flood - ended up in water up to the crossbar and had to get off and push the rest of the way through.  It was up to her waist.  It would have made a great photo, but I felt it would be taking advantage to shoot her misery...
