Another younger friend

Yesterday’s Womble was accompanied by Puss in Boots. He was made the following year, late 1975 for R’s first Christmas. Another toy made from leftover material from clothes that I had made. I don’t know where this fur fabric came from, or the hairy fabric from yesterday’s blip, as we lived in the northeast of Scotland at that time, there was no internet or on line ordering, which we have these days. 

He was well loved, she was little and he was almost as big as her, so conversation were mostly conducted lying side by side. 

There are a few more toys that I must get R to look at when she visits next and choose which she wants to keep and those that can go to a new home. I will have my own favourites to keep.

A mixed day. The weather has been pleasant, and stayed dry for our afternoon walk. The painting job, my sewing and moving stuff about has continued.
