Cheltenham

This shot of Cheltenham shows the the Neptune fountain next to the municipal buildings on the Promenade. It is thanks to nettenet that we are able to add this shot to our online blipper-sourced album of photographs of places that Lorna Lloyd in her Diary of the war (previously blipped in full in the LornaL journal, and now available as a podcast series with Lorna's great-great niece playing her great-great aunt). 

On December 12th 1940 Lorna recorded the bombing of Cheltenham that took place the previous night. This is the last diary entry in Episode 7 of our podcast series of the The diary of the war.
