Sampling the London Jazz Festival

A busy day.

Took my step sister Sarah to East Dulwich where she was having a one-to-one music lesson with a double-bass expert. Once I got back, I quickly packed a couple of bags ready for three nights away at a construction software provider's conference, then travelled to the hotel (the Intercontinental on Park Lane).

I then walked down to Victoria to meet Sarah at her hotel and got the tube to Kennington's Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club. Had dinner downstairs and then went upstairs to watch the Benet McLean Quintet (Tony Woodward on tenor sax). Had time afterwards to grab a quick pint in a nearby pub, before returning to Victoria. Gave Sarah a big goodbye hug and then walked back to Hyde Park Corner.
