Holyrood church

I think this may have made it to my blip page before but it’s looking good on a day with a very blue sky. Holyrood church was bombed in the Southampton Blitz in 1940 so is just a shell and is a grade ll listed building.
I hobbled into Southampton this morning by bus to meet my friend Ruth. I literally got straight off the bus and into the cafe opposite which was very handy. My knee has annoyingly swollen again so it’s back to the ice and support bandage again. More time sat in the chair this afternoon working my way through the Ann Cleve’s Shetland series!
