Wounded Willow

Doesn't strike me as a new break but it's a willow I walk past most days and not noticed this before.

Still cold and windy but good view of Bean, Pink-footed and White-fronted Geese today and also a Water Rail in the garden. The Water Rail is a strange one but seem to get a visit during when there has been enough rain to fill the drainage ditch at the edge of the garden.
