Tour Guide

Today was the first day of class. Stuff we're talking about in Germany: Germany's history, the European economy and monetary system, cultural and communication differences between the US and Europe, luxury brand management, and operations management in Europe. We also have a project presentation and exam next week.

After class today, three of the current WHU students gave us a tour. WHU is a small school (about 1,300 students total) with a small campus (about 11 academic buildings). It's a lot different than UM. One of the guys is actually coming to UM in the fall to start his PhD in strategy. Pretty cool. We may play these guys in soccer sometime in the next week, no official plans yet haha.
