German Countryside
Nice, I have Wi-fi at our hotel in Germany, so I will still blip occasionally. It's 10:30 here and 4:30 in Michigan. My body is still getting used to the time change, and I'm going to bed after this. Anyways, we landed in Frankfurt early today and then took the bus about 45 minutes to Koblenz, site of our study abroad university.
The German countryside is beautiful. The closest thing I can think of in the US would be upstate New York, but even that doesn't really compare. In the afternoon, we got a tour of the city. It's like a cross between downtown Rochester Hills, Mackinaw Island, and Key West. German architecture is very distinct. A bunch of us got some good food for dinner, and hopefully my stomach will get used to this stuff, because it was strong but very good.
Shalom.
