It’s going to be a hard winter. You need a good hat.

Today felt cold. God knows what Kherson and other areas of the Ukraine ravaged by war must be like as the temperature dials down. 

Stayed in bed doing crosswords and drinking tea until mid morning. I went for a short walk and we watched the last two episodes of Season 5 of The Crown with last nights leftover curry.

World Cup kicked off today. I can’t believe the collusion with Qatar. It is a monstrous regime and the infrastructure is soaked in blood. I shan’t be watching.
