Changing Weather
We travelled late morning the short distance to the holiday park our friends are staying at. Their caravan has a great view of Morecambe Bay. Arriving it was blue sky and fluffy clouds. We decided on a short walk as the forecast was not entirely hopeful.
We left in sunshine. Great views of the Bay as we walked - the tide was out, and the wet sand and water were glinting silver in the sunshine (extra). The blip image is a little later, out in the Irish Sea the grey clouds and rain were getting closer. We turned around at Park Point and headed back. The heavy rain really arrived once we were safely inside. We had lunch by the open door. Inside it was spacious, so J felt pretty comfortable.
It’s been a good weekend. Tomorrow our friends return to Somerset, Worcestershire and North Wales, and we make the much shorter journey home. We may do this again sometime.
