A miserable old day today mostly involving taking Doreen to another hospital appointment this time to have her hearing tested and new hearing aids fitted and then on to another emporium in our world tour of Kent garden centres and their cafes.

While Susan and Doreen were otherwise engaged at the hospital I parked nearby and called in at the Blackthorn Trust’s cafe for a coffee and as it turned out a mince pie by way of an apology for forgetting my coffee. This image was hanging up in the conveniences.

I also had time off from the garden centre tour to buy some new walking boots that I’d tried on last month and to go home until required to bring the car round to take Doreen back to her home. I wasn’t idle as I spent time researching house insurance as the renewal quote was 33% higher than last year. I found a better policy for less than last year’s premium.

Landon met Madison yesterday for the first time. He was so excited and so fascinated by her. That augurs well for the future. Videos and photos keep flying through the ether.
