Across The Churchyard
Today we took a quick hop over to the nearby village of Headcorn. It's a very picturesque village with a wide high street still populated by a high number of independent shops and business.
The weather was actually dry and the sun even made an appearance (hurrah!) as we walked a loop around the village including through the churchyard of St Peter and St Paul's, where I took this image through a fabulously characterful tree to a row of cottages. It almost looked like the setting for a Dickens novel.
We fitted in a quick food shop whilst we were there and then stopped to try a new pub, The Plough at Langley, for a pint on the way home before the weather deteriorated yet again.
