Rain!

Lots of rain today, maybe a half inch. It was really lovely after all this dry weather. It cleared up by mid-afternoon and I got out for a nice walk around the neighborhood. The leaves are still clinging to a few trees - mostly Japanese Maples it seems. My neighbor's tree is no exception. They'll be on the ground soon!

A lot of botanical garden work today, and a hunt for a new mattress! Things have sure changed since the last time I went mattress shopping. So many come in a box now, delivered to your door!
