First Christmas present wrapped!
We are going to visit family on Friday so as I had bought a present for my nieces son ( it’s an interesting 1000 piece jigsaw about trees of the world with an accompanying poster and info booklet) I decided I might as well pack it up to give to my niece when we see her for lunch this week rather than have to post.
I have not bought any Christmas wrapping paper as have some from last year and lots of ribbon etc. This is actually the back of some black patterned IKEA general wrapping paper ( always a bargain!) and brown paper seems fashionable anyway. When I got out my box of wrapping ribbons etc. I found some tags and few that I had cut out from last years Christmas cards…like this owl one.
I now need to get out my Christmas card list and print labels etc. as a I think we need to post earlier than usual because of more threatened postal strikes.
A busy day after the decorators putting back furniture, pictures, curtains, blinds etc etc. The curtains were a nightmare getting the poles back up and then getting the curtains the right way on the pole…we had to have three goes! I will have a go at steam cleaning the curtains with a little machine I found in the garage..rather grubby at one bottom corner where a certain dog often sleeps!
However it all looks fresh and clean.
More rain earlier but OK now for a quick dog walk before it gets dark.
