First light

It got a bit more colour and then the clouds came in.
I had planned to start a beginners' running group today but, although a few said they would come, only one did. I wasn't really surprised as it wasn't a welcoming morning. The two of us went for a brisk walk and got back just as it began to rain.
The rain stopped later and I was able to get into the garden and cut out some branches in the front trees/shrubs. I was pleased to get this done as I had an empty (paid for) brown bin and it's due to be emptied tomorrow.
I then came in and made some Christmas cards before going out for a run with the group. It was chilly but the wind and rain had both gone and there was a starry sky to be seen over the reservoir.
