Mixed weather

Here in East Devon today we have a mixed batch of weather as shown by this picture, you could be standing in sunshine but are nether far from a sharp shower. This lovely stand of Beech trees, just turning green, has the sun shining on them but the sky beyond is becoming dark and threatening.

Looking under the trees you can see some of the Lamberts Castle herd which seem to have grown in size to some 20 cattle.

The dark clouds delivered its promising storm but not before I had made it back to the car.!
